Emo is a Geologist with over 20years’ experience in the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry. He started his career as a sedimentologist with Strata Search Limited where he rose through the ranks to become the General Manager in 1997. As project coordinator in Strata Search Ltd, anumber of large-scale projects were successfully executed under his close supervision.

These include Sedimentological Core Description of 12,000ft of cores for Shell, Ashland Petroleum (now Addax Petroleum), Texaco Oversea (now ChevronTexaco), & Nigeria Agip Oil Company; Biostratigraphic Study of several offshore /inshore wells for Elf Petroleum Nigeria Limited, Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited, Chevron Nigeria Limited and Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited.

Other projects of note are Sandbody Nomenclature of NAOC wells (over 325 wells as at 1996), Seismo-sequence Stratigraphic Study of OML 62 for the Nigerian Agip Company (NAOC) in 2005, wellsite geologist for Shell, Addax Petroleum etc. Takes full responsibility for most technical presentations to clients.

He is a member of various professional associations including Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) – an affiliate of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Nigerian Mining & Geosciences Society (NMGS) etc. Emo is currently the Secretary, Port Harcourt Chapter of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists. Emo is the Operations Manager and also a member of the Board of Directors of MSSL.
